Kupe is the founder of Coopers&Co Accountants in Northampton and has built the business up over the last 14 years.  

As a business owner himself, Kupe understands the challenges of running a business in today’s climate.  The key to sustainable growth is being able to make the right decisions, based on reliable financial information. 

Kupe is currently building the Coopers&Co ‘Your FD’ service, helping businesses to plan for tomorrow by understanding today, providing senior-level financial guidance, industry best-practice and improved financial management. 

Outside of work, Kupe enjoys fine food (and wine) whether that’s cooking at home or going out to restaurants locally, across the UK or overseas. To level things out, he can also be found on the golf course or in the gym.

Jack began his accounting career as an apprentice at a small firm, where he studied for his AAT qualifications. Before joining Coopers&Co as an accountant in Northampton, Jack took a role in a top 10 accounting firm. However, he missed the personal service that a smaller accounting firm provides, so joined Coopers&Co four years ago. 

Jack leads our ‘Your FD’ service, providing Management Accounts, KPI reporting, forecasting and systems and processes reviews and implementations. Any business looking to grow needs to have clear financial insight and as an ACCA qualified accountant, Jack is a valuable addition to any business.

Jack has an equally busy home life, with two young children and is often exploring new places with them. He also enjoys a well-earned ‘rest’ at the cinema.

Karen is an accountant in Northampton and started her accounting career by training with the AAT. She then achieved further qualifications through ACCA. With a very logical brain (and a small bit of OCD), Karen enjoys getting to know a business and their people and what makes them both tick. Her ability to interpret data and draw meaning from it really helps her in both the auditing and accounting side of the role. As a people-person, Karen enjoys meeting clients and being that person who can ask any question to without feeling daft!

As the expert for property managing agents, Karen supports clients with their compliance and accounting obligations. She needs to make sure they meet their duties within The Landlord & Tenant Act. In addition, Karen is the Client Manager for all of Coopers&Co’s charity and not-for profit clients too. 

Having balanced her career with raising her young family, Karen luckily she managed to indulge in some incredible holidays. She combined this with her favourite things – wine, great food and the odd cocktail thrown in for good measure.

Isobel is Coopers&Co’s client manager and small business accounting specialist in Northampton. Having managed her own accounting practice for several years, Isobel wanted the challenge of working with a bigger team. This means she can offer more services to her clients and push their businesses forward. 

Isobel manages many of our clients’ statutory and annual accounts, corporation tax and self-assessments. She also supports with the YourFD service too. 

Outside of work, Isobel is a qualified yoga teacher. She combined her passions for yoga and travel and after a life-altering trip to Bali. She took the plunge and trained as a yoga teacher (in Northampton, not Bali sadly). When she’s not working or teaching yoga classes in Milton Keynes, you’ll find Isobel reading a book or drinking a well-deserved glass of wine. 

Natalie Standen

Natalie is Coopers&Co’s ‘Queen of Payroll’ and manages our client's payroll services in Northampton accurately and on time. She processes hundreds of payrolls for happy clients each month. This means taking care of their pensions, holiday pay, maternity pay and SSP.

She also manages all returns and verifications for sub-contractors and businesses in the construction industry. She can also help to reclaim CIS

It’s a legal requirement in the UK for employers to provide a payslip, so a fully compliant and timely payroll is a legal essential for any growing business.

With over 35 years of payroll experience, Natalie has worked across a variety of sectors and has achieve her National Payroll Certificate Levels 1 & 2. She is also an active member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Providers.  

When she’s not busy managing payroll for our clients, you'll find Natalie enjoying herself on a sunny holiday abroad or enjoying live music from the 1980’s.

Julie has been the superstar Practice Manager at Coopers&Co accountants in Northampton since day one. She's the glue that holds the administrative team together, juggling contract renewals, maintenance issues, insurances, and policy updates with ease. Julie is also the go-to person for any invoice queries, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine.

Before joining Coopers&Co, Julie was the Admin Manager for an IT business, where she sharpened her skills in administration and team management. She's a pro at keeping things organized and efficient.

In her spare time, Julie loves to hit the trails for a good walk, test her knowledge at quizzes, and dive into a good book with her book club. She's also got a green thumb and enjoys gardening. Now embracing semi-retirement, Julie is finding the perfect balance between work and leisure.

Ryan is a dedicated and detail-oriented accountant in Northampton with two years of experience in financial reporting, tax preparation, and financial analysis. His role as Assistant Accountant at Coopers&Co sees him deliver accurate and timely financial information to help clients with their business decision making, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

With a strong foundation in Xero, Excel, Iris, and Taxcalc, Ryan loves to help clients to understand their numbers to help a business to improve their operational efficiency.

Known in the office for his meticulous eye for detail, Ryan helps businesses of all sizes navigate the complexities of financial management.

Ryan is currently studying his level 4 AAT which help him to achieve his overall goal of becoming a chartered accountant.

“Fabia is one of Coopers&Co’s accountants and has a passion for helping clients manage their finances. With experience in accounts preparation, business advisory, self-assessments, VAT, and Management Accounts. Fabia ensures that her clients receive personalised financial support.

Having originally trained as a hairdresser, Fabia spent five years in the industry before transitioning to the world of accounting.

She has now been an accountant for five years and is both AAT qualified and an ACA student, continuously expands her knowledge and skills in the field.

When she’s not supporting clients with business advisory services in the office, Fabia is busy with a house renovation project, bringing her creativity and attention to detail to her home. She also enjoys running and has a goal of completing the London Marathon in the future”

Leah is our Administrator here at Coopers & Co and began her journey with us as a Junior Administrator in 2023. Through dedication and hard work, Leah progressed to Administrator. Most recently, she’s taken on the role of Payroll Assistant, working closely with Natalie to support our growing team.

Outside of work, Leah loves catching a West End show with her sister and cherishes time spent with her two nieces. She’s also a fan of a good holiday. However, she's currently saving up to buy her first home, which means the holiday blues are hitting hard!

Aleana is Coopers&Co's Credit Control and Accounts Assistant, so it's her responsibility to make sure that we pay our suppliers on time, and that our clients pay us on time too!

Aleana has worked for Coopers&Co for over three years now, having previously worked for a number of other professional services companies in similar roles. She loves that no day is the same here at Coopers&Co - and loves building up relationships with our clients, which makes her job so much fun.

Outside of work, Aleana is a busy mum to three teenagers, so she's also a private chauffer, cashpoint, chef and counsellor! At home, she's a bit of a Mrs Hinch; she loves a good old clean and organise - but often with a glass of prosecco in her hand!

It's not all work though, Aleana has a big family and loves socialising with them and enjoys an exotic holiday too!
