Kupesh Patel
Kupe is the founder of Coopers&Co and has built up the business over the last 14 years.
As a business owner himself, Kupe understands the challenges of running a business in today’s climate. The key to sustainable growth is being able to make the right decisions, based on reliable financial information.
Kupe is currently building the Coopers&Co ‘Your FD’ service, helping businesses to plan for tomorrow by understanding today, providing senior-level financial guidance, industry best-practice and improved financial management.
Outside of work, Kupe enjoys fine food (and wine) whether that’s cooking at home or going out to restaurants locally, across the UK or overseas. To level things out, he can also be found on the golf course or in the gym.
Jack Emmerson

Jack Emmerson
Jack began his accounting career as an apprentice at a small firm, where he studied for his AAT qualifications. Before joining Coopers&Co as Client Manager, Jack took a role in a top 10 accounting firm, but missed the personal service that a smaller accounting firm provides for clients, so joined Coopers&Co four years ago.
Jack leads our ‘Your FD’ service, providing Management Accounts, KPI reporting, forecasting and systems and processes reviews and implementations. Any business looking to grow needs to have clear financial insight and as an ACCA qualified accountant, Jack is a valuable addition to any business.
Jack has an equally busy home life, with two young children and when he’s not off exploring new places with them, he enjoys a well-earned ‘rest’ at the cinema.
Karen Hasker

Karen Hasker
Karen started her accounting career by training with the AAT and then achieved further qualifications through ACCA. With a very logical brain (and a small bit of OCD), Karen enjoys getting to know a business and their people and what makes them both tick. Her ability to interpret data and draw meaning from it really helps her in both the auditing and accounting side of the role. As a people-person, Karen enjoys meeting clients and being that person who can ask any question to without feeling daft!
Karen now helps property managing agents with their compliance and accounting obligations, making sure they meet their duties within The Landlord & Tenant Act. Karen is also the Client Manager for all of Coopers&Co’s charity and not-for profit clients too.
Karen balanced her career with raising her young family, which was tough, but luckily she managed to indulge in some incredible holidays along with her favourite things – wine, great food and the odd cocktail thrown in for good measure.
Isobel Forber

Isobel Forber
Isobel is Coopers&Co’s client manager and small business specialist. Having managed her own accounting practice for several years, Isobel wanted the challenge of working with a bigger team to offer more services to her clients so that she could really push them forward.
Isobel manages many of our clients’ statutory and annual accounts, corporation tax and self-assessments. She also supports with the Your FD service too.
Outside of work, Isobel is a qualified yoga teacher. She combined her passions for yoga and travel and after a life-altering trip to Bali, took the plunge and trained as a yoga teacher (in Northampton, not Bali sadly). When she’s not working or teaching yoga classes in Milton Keynes, you’ll find Isobel reading a book or drinking a well-deserved glass of wine.
Natalie Standen

Natalie Standen
Natalie is Coopers&Co’s ‘Queen of Payroll’ and makes sure our client’s payroll is processed accurately and on time. She processes hundreds of payrolls for happy clients each month, ensuring their pensions, holiday pay, maternity pay and SSP are taken care of. For sub-contractors and businesses in the construction industry, Natalie can manage all returns and verifications and help you to reclaim CIS. It’s a legal requirement in the UK for employers to provide a payslip, so a fully compliant and timely payroll is a legal requirement.
With over 35 years of payroll experience, Natalie has worked across a variety of sectors and has achieve her National Payroll Certificate Levels 1 & 2 and is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Providers.
When she’s not busy managing payrolls for our clients, you can find Natalie enjoying herself on a sunny holiday abroad or enjoying live music from the 1980’s.
